A huge congratulations the newly crowned Connaught Champions of 2023. St. Brigid’s are kings of Connaught club football for the first time in 11 years after a brilliantly executed match against Corofin at Dr. Hyde Park on Sunday 3rd December 2023. The final score was St. Brigid’s 1-13 Corofin 2-5. Some of the victorious team members came to show off their silverware in Ballybay on Friday December 8th. They were met with great cheers and celebrations as the Connaught Cup made its way around Ballybay N.S. Most of the team visitors are past pupils of Ballybay including Brian Stack, Conor Hand and Shane Cunnane. We wish them all the best for their Semi-Final match on Saturday January 6th 2024.
