BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

Boards of Management were first established in Irish Primary Schools in 1975. Boards consist of 2 nominees of the patron (Bishop of Elphin), 2 Parents of children enrolled in the school (1 Mother / 1 Father), the principal of the school, 1 other teacher (elected by the teaching staff) and 2 additional members from the community (agreed by the other 6 members).

Our New Board of Management came into effect on 1st December 2023 and will remain in place for a four year term. Current Members of the Board of Management in Ballybay N.S. are as follows:
