On Thursday March 13th pupils from Ms Mc Gowan’s 3rd class raised €50 in aid of  “ Go Green Day For LauraLynn!” Thank you to all the children in 3rd class for making their St. Patrick’s Day at school celebration an extra special one by supporting LauraLynn children and their families.

Our Student Council which meets regularly and led by Ms Hughes, has been carrying out important work in our school. They are helping to organise our ‘Lá Glas’ within the theme ‘Funny Focail’. On Thursday they will conduct proceedings which include a repertoire of class performances and a performance by the school

Active School Flag Santa Dash 2024 We held our Active Schools Santa Dash on Friday 20th December 2024. Everyone enjoyed getting out in the fresh air and been active. Well done to our Active Schools Committee for organising this initiative.

Active School Flag In Ballybay CNS we began our Active school flag process in September 2024. A new children’s committee in the school has been formed and we had our first meeting recently. At present we have started our Active every day challenge. Everyone in the school is enjoying being active each day.

In March, we received the exciting news that our school was awarded its 11th Green Flag for our work on the theme of Global Citizenship Food and Biodiversity. This is an amazing achievement and one we can all be proud of. Our journey to achieving this flag began with forming a committee.
