Ballybay N.S. celebrated the first ever SNA Appreciation Day on Thursday 26th September 2024. We are blessed with our four amazing SNAs, Dawn, Martina, Eileen and Tammy. There are an incredible 3,750 schools across Ireland participating in this celebration. Special Needs Assistants play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs, and are at the heart of our schools. SNA Appreciation Day is more than a celebration. At its core, this is not just about a one-day recognition of SNAs. It’s about fostering a deeper understanding of the integral role that they play in schools. A huge thank you to the social committee of Tisha, Sinead and Claire who took the time to decorate the staff-room and provide treats for all the staff.
